
Driving Directions:
As the crow flies, Seldovia is 16 air miles south of Homer, Alaska. Homer is 240 road miles south southwest of Anchorage. From the Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport, proceed east on International Airport Road for 2 miles to the Minnesota Bypass. Turn right and proceed south and east 4 miles to the Seward Highway. Turn right again and drive south for 84 miles to the Seward Wye, then turn right at the junction of the Sterling Highway. Homer is about 156 miles south along the Sterling Highway.
When in Homer, proceed directly to the Homer Spit, via Lake Street, Ocean Drive, and the Homer Spit Road. If you’re planning to fly, turn left on Kachemak Drive and drive east to the Homer Airport and the air taxi operations.
If you plan on taking a water taxi or the Alaska State Ferry System, drive out the Spit Road towards lands end.
